The Genius of Les Paul
Monday, Jan. 11, 7:00pm
The genius and the achievements of Les Paul covers many areas. He is best known for the invention of the solid body electric guitar. Of course, he is also known as a very successful recording start with his wife Mary Ford. He and Mary sold more records between the years of 1949 and 1953 than the next three highest recording stars combined. They were also highly successful as radio and TV personalities, and called Mahwah NJ their home for nearly 60 years. These are the stories which will be presented in this program by Professor Charles Carreras.
