Ridgewood Residents Browsing Appointment: 45 minutes 

  • You are registering for 3:00-3:45pm visit to browse and check out materials on the First Floor, Mezzanine and Reference Level.  Walk-ins are welcome for Ridgewood residents and other communities if capacity limits allow.
  • The first session (9:00-9:45am) is open to Seniors and other vulnerable populations in Ridgewood. 
  • Each person will register individually. 
  • The building will be cleared at the end of each session to allow for cleaning.
    If you would like to use a computer, please register for the Adult Services Computer Use Appointment: 40 mins

While at the library you can:

  • Pick up your holds at our doorside tent.
  • Return items at outdoor book drop only to allow for quarantine of items.
  • Browse materials on the First Floor, Mezzanine and Reference Level.
  • Check out materials at any service desk.
  • Ask a reference question or get a book recommendation. 
  • Ask us about our NEW library checkout app, MeeScan.
  • Print and copy. 

We're not quite ready for:

  • Hanging out, please keep your visit as short as you can 
  • In-house events / programs
  • In-house reading / studying / tutoring
  • Indoor art exhibits
  • Interlibrary loans
  • Meetings / Study groups

For everyone’s safety, please:

  • Stay home if you're sick / not feeling well.
  • Wear your mask (required for age 2 and up) covering both your mouth and nose while on library property, including outdoor areas.
  • Keep a minimum 6-foot social distance from others.
  • Refrain from hanging out, congregating, and sitting on the floor.
  • Respect the safety shields at our service desks; speak through and not around them.
  • Sanitize your hands upon entry and as needed. Hand sanitizer available at the entrance and throughout the library.
  • Please keep your visit as short as reasonably possible.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who remains with them and monitors their behavior. Check here for Children's Book Selection Appointments
