WRITE NOW ! Essay Writing Workshop for Middle School Students

Work through sample essays together with educator, Mary Pat Phillips. Ms. Phillips will assist in the writing process, discuss essay genres, as well as practicing outlining, writing clear paragraphs, topic sentences, intro and conclusion techniques. Please register for both sessions. Grades 6-8. All programs are available only to teens (who live and/or go to school in Ridgewood) in Grades 6 - 8 unless noted otherwise.  Registration required. 
Mary Pat Phillips is an experienced writing educator and the founder of Great Owl Academic Writing Tutoring.  She offers one-on-one writing coaching to students in grades 5-12 with a focus on academic essay writing, grammar, standardized test prep and  high school and college admissions essay writing.
