Clermont Co. Public Library
Zoom: QPR Training - Question, Persuade, and Refer
Zoom Event

Thursday, Apr. 22, 10-11:30 a.m.
The Clermont County Public Library is offering a free QPR Training Program for adults from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 22, using Zoom.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer. It is a program that helps save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical, and proven suicide prevention training. Just as people trained in CPR help save lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year, thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.

Class size is limited. Participants must be 18 or older.

The QPR Gatekeeper Training Program is NREPP-approved, evidence-based training. The training will be taught by Mary Makley Wolff, associate director for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.

A grant from the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board provided the funding for this free training.
