Mental Health First Aid Training

The Clermont County Public Library is offering free Mental Health First Aid training for adults from 10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4 at the Miami Township Library.  The Mental Health & Recovery Board will inform members of the public on how to better understand and how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations. You will learn the risk factors and warning signs, strategies for how to help and where to turn for assistance. RSVP by calling the library at 248-0700 or sign up online.

Class size is limited. Participants must be 18 or older. Everyone will receive a manual to supplement class content. A 30-minute lunch break will be provided. Packed lunches are encouraged.

The training will be taught by Mary Makley Wolff, director of the Coalition for a Drug Free Clermont County. Learn more about Mental Health First Aid Training at www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org.

A grant from the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board provided the funding for this free training.
