Join us for our next living history discussion at 6:30 p.m., Monday, August 27 at the Amelia Library. We'll discuss the legacy of Marian A. Spencer, local civil rights activist, who helped desegregate Cincinnati's Coney Island and integrate Cincinnati schools. Attendees will watch a pre-recorded interview between biographer Dorothy Christenson and Ms. Spencer. Ms. Christenson will be here to discuss the writing of "Keep on Fighting: The Life and Civil Rights Legacy of Marian Spencer" and answer questions. For more information or to reserve a spot in the discussion teens and adults can call the library at 752-5580 or sign up online.
