Williamsville Public Library and Museum
Look Back and Laugh
At Home

Wednesday, Jan. 27, 5:45-7:45pm
Here is how the Smithsonian describes the program:
Mel Brooks, Johnny Carson, and Carol Burnett—all recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors—made it look easy, but nothing is harder than comedy that seems effortless. Artists of the funny bone, they lifted our spirits and eased the night, poked fun at the powerful, imitated the familiar, made flights of wild imagination and thought-provoking spoofs. They made us fall over laughing while hitting the bull’s eye of their comic targets.
Join Sara Lukinson, filmmaker and writer for the Kennedy Center Honors for 38 years, for an evening full of laughs as she covers the remarkable lives of these legendary entertainers and screens clips of their hilarious performances.

Program Length:
It will probably last 1.5 to 2 hours, and it will not be recorded/archived for access later.
