Do you have concerns about the upcoming new Windows 11 changes?  Is your computer not even eligible for upgrade to Windows 11? Or are you just curious about Linux?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the class for you!  We'll learn about Linux and do hands on training with the provided Linux boot flash drive. This is a 3-part class and takes place in person at the library.   A personal laptop and knowledge of computer basics and Windows is required.  A flash drive will be provided.  For ages 18 & up.  Registration required.

A personal laptop is required for this class and it should be able to boot from a USB drive.  If you aren't sure if yours can do this, please email adultservices@smoot.org about scheduling a quick meeting with the instructor to make sure your laptop is all set up.
