Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your research skills, this session will equip you with practical strategies to uncover your ancestors' stories. Come ready to embark on your journey into the past!

Ellen Corcoran Daniello has been researching her family history for over 50 years. She has been a member of Capital District Genealogical Society for about 20 years and has been on the Board for seven years, having served as Program Committee Co-chair for 3 years. Her family has lived in Rensselaer County, NY for over 200 years. Seven of her eight great-grandparent lines are from Ireland where in 2023 she was able to do a research trip and documented her travels.

*Street parking is available in front of the library for free, and you are also welcome to park in the Courthouse lot located directly behind the library on the corner of 3rd Street and Congress Street*
