The TV series The Great American Read has peaked readers interest in the 100 titles nominated as contestants for America’s favorite book. Following the conclusion of the show, join us in an in-depth exploration of several books from the Great American Read’s top 100 list. Each month in this series we will pick one book to celebrate. We will watch a documentary or film on the author, one film adaptation of the book, and cap it off with a book discussion led by retired Siena College Professor, Tom Bulger. All books will be available for at the checkout desk during the month in which they will be discussed.
This week we will be watching
The Great Gatsby (2013 film adaptation, 2 hr, 23 min) Rated PG-13
