Young children ages 3-6 are invited to learn Spanish through music! We are partnering with Lessonface, a platform that connects students with great teachers for online classes, to offer free live group music lessons. This beginner course is a 4-week series for young children and their caregivers. It will run for an hour on four consecutive Tuesdays, beginning on July 21 at 11 a.m.
Spanish Through Music combines music and language, with songs, rhythmic patterns, specific melodies, and live instruments. Children will be exposed to Spanish for the full duration of the class, learning 5 -10 specific words per class.
Participating families do need not need any specific instruments or prior Spanish-speaking experience, but they will need a computer/tablet with a webcam for Zoom.
Registration is required once for the entire 4-week session (July 21, July 28, August 4, and August 11). Multiple children (ages 3-6) in each household are welcome to attend together, but please register only one child per household.
Please make sure to include your email address to ensure that you receive the Zoom invite.
