VIRTUAL: Piano Recital with Greta Pasztor
Hudson Library & Historical Society

The Hudson Library & Historical Society welcomes pianist Greta Pasztor to the virtual stage for a concert of diverse piano repertoire featuring music from different cultures and time periods. The program will feature a diverse range of music from Bach’s Gigue from Partita No. 1, Schubert’s Impromptu Op. 90 No. 3 and Chopin’s Ballade in F Minor Op. 52 No. 2 to Dohnányi’s Ruralia Hungarica, Gottschalk’s Souvenir de Porto Rico and Copland’s The Cat and the Mouse. This concert will premiere on the library’s Facebook page on Sunday, July 12 at 2 p.m. and will be available for streaming on the library's YouTube page anytime thereafter. Pasztor was born in Romania, and started playing the piano at the age of 6. She earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Keyboard Performance and Music Theory from Baldwin Wallace University and is currently pursuing Master of Music degrees from Kent State University in Piano Performance and Choral Conducting. She loves exploring all types of repertoire, instrumental and choral, and approaching music as a pedagogue, theorist, performer and listener.
