Children going into grades 3-6 are invited to join us for our fun and friendly Buckeye Book Club on Wednesday July 15 at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom video chat. This month’s book is “The Girl Who Drank the Moon" by Kelly Barnhill. This highly acclaimed middle-grade book has won numerous awards including the 2017 Newbery Award. This book is "an epic fantasy about a young girl raised by a witch, a swamp monster, and a Perfectly Tiny Dragon, who must unlock the powerful magic buried deep inside her.”
This book is currently available on Hoopla as an ebook and on Overdrive as an ebook and an audiobook, and it can be accessed with your library card. From our main hudsonlibrary.org page, go to “Download It” and then “Hoopla” or “Overdrive Kids”. (There is no waitlist for items on Hoopla; they are immediately available. Overdrive may have a waitlist.)
Registration is required and begins on June 15. Please register for this program and make sure to include your email address. Thank you!
