VIRTUAL: Guitar Concert with Claude Bourbon
Hudson Library & Historical Society

Sunday, Aug. 2, 2 p.m.
The Hudson Library & Historical Society welcomes accomplished French acoustic guitarist Claude Bourbon to the virtual stage on Sunday, August 2 at 2 p.m. for a concert of varied music that will include the traditional English folk song, Greensleeves, Deep Purple’s Soldier of Fortune, original pieces composed by Bourbon and more. Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for his breathtaking guitar performances, labeled by Charlottesville, Virginia’s The Hook as “almost indescribable.”

This concert will premiere on the library’s Facebook page on Sunday, August at 2 p.m. and will be available for streaming on the library's YouTube page anytime thereafter. Access the library’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HudsonLibrary.HistoricalSociety.

Born in France and based in the United Kingdom, Bourbon grew up in Switzerland, where he was classically trained. He has performed and studied all over the world, crafting a fusion of classical and jazz, with ethereal Eastern influences, Spanish and Latin elements with strains of Western folk.
