Community Room

Friday, Oct. 28, 5-6:30pm
Now in its 20th year of original, evocative poetry and sound effects,Theremin Ghosts! features theremin player and performance artist Carl Welden and poet Robert Milby. Milby's spoken word poetry chronciles hauntings and strange incidents in the Hudson Valley and beyond--framed by the ethereal, unsettling notes and noises of Welden’s Moog Theremin.

Theremin Ghosts! is conjured throughout the Hudson Valley, NY, haunting annually at Mohonk Mountain House, on Halloween Night; the Rosendale Theatre, 2008- 2011, Mudd Puddle Café in New Paltz, NY, 2003-2019, and dozens of spellbound sites, from October, 2003 to present. It has performed at libraries, cafés, bookstores, coffeehouses, art galleries, and cultural centers. As the show progresses, it consists of darker mysteries, ghosts, and longer, frightening, narratives. Not recommended for children under 13.
