Pysanky is an ancient art process that uses layers of wax and dye to create a beautiful design on a real egg. The design includes traditional Ukrainian symbols for wisdom, faith and everlasting life - to name a few. Once all the colors are applied, the wax is melted off to reveal the beautiful creation. Each participant will create one pysanka, which will be varnished and then taken home in a special container.
