RAY'S ROCKETS have been putting down their groove across central Illinois since 2009, frequently playing local night spots, annual "Days" fairs, and various summer music series in Bloomington, Ottawa and LaSalle, and now Morton, too. RAY'S ROCKETS is a five-piece band. Members are: Joel Limberg [guitar, vocals], Bill Retoff [bass guitar, vocals, harmonica], Tim Kerestes [drums], Brian Kerestes [saxophone, vocals, percussion], Colleen Kerestes [vocals, keyboard, percussion]. Their sound/road team is Kevin and Cheryl Galloway. RAY'S ROCKETS perform an ever-evolving kaleidoscope of music from the 1950s thru the 1980s--classic rock, pop, rhythm and blues, plus country music...from Elvis to Chuck Berry...from The Beatles to The Mood Blues...from Janis Joplin to Patsy Cline...from The Rolling Stones to The Kinks...from Santana to Deep Purple...from CCR to AC/DC...from Johnny Cash to Waylon Jennings...from Bon Jovi to Journey...from The Blues Brothers to Stevie Ray Vaughan...from The Platters to The Ronettes.
