Celebrate the historic landing of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in the Moon’s Sea of Tranquility 50 years ago this summer! This presentation will cover the rationale and lead-up to the mission, the subsequent Apollo moon landings, and recent renewed interest in exploration of the Moon, and will feature lots of incredible pictures. For all ages interested in space, with a Q&A to follow. Presented by the Peoria Riverfront Museum's planetarium staff. All Ages.
