How to create a Pollinator’s Paradise: Milkweeds and Monarchs - by Lisa Reed and Family. Come learn what YOU can do to help the monarch butterfly, an endangered species. The Reed Family yard is a registered monarch way station and they are involved in tagging the butterflies to track migration. Participants will use microscopes for observations, learn about the monarch life cycle, and receive a packet of milkweed seeds. Please bring magnifying glasses to the session. Grades: 4-7. Registration required.
