Sewing Basics Class for Teens and Adults

4/16/19, 5/21/19, 6/18/19 & 7/16/19
The Cesar Chavez Central Library offers Sewing Basics class for teens and adults every 3rd Tuesday (4/16/19, 5/21/19, 6/18/19 & 7/16/19) from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the MakerSpace room on the 2nd floor. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of sewing, including operating a sewing machine, threading a bobbin,and sewing a straight seam. Anyone age 13 or older, who also has little or no experience with using a sewing machine, is invited to attend the class. Equipment and supplies will be provided. Sign up is NOT required. However, space is limited to 4 patrons per class. This FREE program is sponsored by the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.

Due to the demand in the summer, the library offers an additional Sewing Basics session on Tuesday 7/30/19. 

A FREE public parking lot is located across from the library at the corner of Center and Oak Street.
