Free Computer Classes @Chavez Library

Thursday, Feb. 7, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The Cesar Chavez Central Library will provide free computer classes for adults every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the following dates.
February 7, 2019 - Beginning Internet Class
February 14, 2019 - Using the Google Search Engine
February 21, 2019 - Accessing Library Digital Collection*
February 28, 2019 - Learning Languages with Rosetta Stone*
March 7, 2019 - Mobile 101*
March 14, 2019 - Google Docs Basics*
March 21, 2019 - Beginning Microsoft Word*
March 28, 2019 - Beginning Microsoft Excel*


Most classes are designed for patrons who need to learn basic computer skills and to become familiar with computer terminologies and applications. No registration is required. Adults and seniors are invited to attend these classes.

However, there are special requirements(*) for the following classes:
+ Mobile 101, Accessing Library Digital Collection, & Learning Languages with Rosetta Stone - Patrons must bring their own mobile devices (smartphone or tablet) to the class.
+ Beginning Microsoft Word & Excel - Patrons must know how to use the mouse and keyboard prior to attending any of these classes.
+ Google Docs Basics - Patrons must have a valid email address and must know your login.

Also, a free public parking lot is located across from the library at the corner of Oak and Center Street.
