Free Computer Classes for Adults and Seniors (January & February 2018)

The Cesar Chavez Central Library will provide free computer classes for adults & seniors every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the following dates.
  • January 4, 2018 - Downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks
  • January 11, 2018 - Learning Languages With Rosetta Stone
  • January 18, 2018 - Basic Computer Skills
  • January 25, 2018 - Mouse & Keyboard Basics
  • February 1, 2018 - Beginning Internet
  • February 8, 2018 - Surfing the Internet Using Google
  • February 15, 2018 - Beginning Microsoft Word
  • February 22, 2018 - Beginning Microsoft Publisher
Basic Computer Skills, Internet for Beginners & Surfing the Internet Using Google classes are designed for patrons who need to learn basic computer skills and to become familiar with computer terminologies and applications. No registration is required. Adults and seniors are invited to attend these classes.

Special requirements for the following classes:
+ Learning Languages with Rosetta Stone - Patrons must bring their own mobile devices (smartphone or tablet) to the class.
+ Beginning Microsoft Word and Publisher - Patrons must know how to use the mouse and keyboard prior to attending any of these classes.

A FREE public parking lot is located across from the library on Center and Oak Street, and it's FREE all day.
