Dan Hamamura Bio:

Dan was born and raised in Hawaii, and has been interested in television ever since he discovered (at the age of seven) that he could negotiate a later bedtime by promising to go to sleep as soon as the Cheers rerun was over. Eventually, this translated into an actual desire to work in television itself, and led him to Los Angeles, where he worked on numerous shows as an assistant prior to becoming a writer full-time. He has written for TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles, Netflix’s The Ghost Bride, and most recently served as a Writer/Producer on the CW’s Kung Fu.

Dan has also written, directed, and performed with various sketch and improvisational comedy groups throughout Los Angeles and around the country, most notably at the Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West (RIP). He swears he is not an actor.
