Dog Safety for Children
Monday, June 21, 10:30 a.m.

Join Nancy Elsea and Cheyenne Taylor from the Clinton County Humane Society for a special Dog Safety program for children ages 3 years - 1st grade. Nancy and Cheyenne  will teach children how to be safe around unfamiliar dogs. This program will be interactive. Nancy's dog Radar and Luna the library dog will be at the program so that children can get hands-on experience.

Nancy Elsea was an elementary school counselor, the 4-H dog obedience instructor, and has taught dog safety to children for years. She is currently on the board of directors for the Humane Society.

Cheyenne Taylor started out as the veterinary technician at the Clinton County Humane Society and has since moved up to become the director of the Humane Society in Clinton County.

Funding has been provided to the Friends of the Frankfort Public Library, Inc. from the Indiana Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.
