Do you want to laugh and make your friends laugh too? Join Michael on a hilarious adventure into the world of comedy. Explore improvisation, theater games, sketch comedy, and stand-up, all from the safety of your own home. If Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Fallon can do it, so can you!

The Fellowship of the Books is excited to bring Michael Kevin Baldwin to the kids at home in the Northwest corner and Eastern Dutchess County.

Michael Kevin Baldwin is a director, actor, teacher, and playwright.  He teaches Drama at The Brearley School in Manhattan where he has directed such acclaimed productions as Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, A New Brain, Into the Woods, The Crucible, Death of a Salesman, Our Town and A Bright Room Called Day.  Michael co-created and directed the play #BraveSpace, which premiered at New York University’s Forum on Ethnodrama.  #BraveSpace explores the impact that theater has on the development of youth identity.   As a professional actor, Michael has performed Off-Broadway and at The Metropolitan Opera, The Kennedy Center in D.C., in National Tours, and in regional theaters all over the country.  Michael has previously taught Drama at Hunter College High School, Acting Manitou Performing Arts Camp, TADA NYC, The Sharon Playhouse, and The Falls Village Children’s Theater.   Michael proudly serves on the Board of Directors of The Sharon Playhouse and is the Chair of the Education Committee.  Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Education from The City College of New York and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Sociology from Skidmore College.
