The transition from high school to college can be incredibly exciting. And it can also present some challenges for many students. Whether it’s making new friends, balancing various demands, creating a new routine, or asking for help, this transition is an amazing opportunity for growth. Making the Transition is a 90 minute conversation for high school students preparing for college. Based on research on the challenges of adjusting to a new life in college, as well as clinically proven coping techniques, this workshop helps students learn how to make connections, overcome fears, manage stress, and balance academic and social demands to succeed in the transition.
