“Positive Forward Thinking” is the ability to find the silver lining in every cloud no matter how difficult yesterday or today may be. Nowadays, many people have lost confidence in themselves and the world around them due to personal hardship along with economic and political uncertainty worldwide. However, each of us possesses personal strengths and wisdom that we can draw from in order to experience our world with increased hope, kindness, and gratitude.
Utilizing excerpts from Contagious Optimism and RESCRIPT the Story You’re Telling Yourself, along with simple yet impactful positive psychology exercises, and the sharing of group members’ personal stories and life wisdom, Dr. Colleen leads group members in boosting positivity and perseverance.

The group typically meets the first Saturday of each month from 10:30AM-12:00PM, except for July and August when it meets the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30PM-8:00PM.
