Poetry of Food
Sayreville Public Library

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 6:30PM (Tuesdays, October 16 and 23, 6:30PM)
or call 732-727-0212.
This event is being offered in memory of local poet and friend, Carol Zielinski.

Food has inspired writers throughout history.  In this workshop, we will explore the connection between food and poetry as we learn to hone our senses, create strong imagery, and engage our audience.  We will delve into works that explore emotion, nature, and humanity through the food experience and write original material with the use of prompts, tastings, and discussions.

This workshop is open to writers with all levels of experience.  Please note that this workshop will meet for 2 consecutive Tuesdays.  We ask that registrants attend both sessions.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
