Main Library

Monday, May 12, 1-3 pm

Most gardening sources list the most popular home-grown vegetable as the tomato. But is the tomato considered to be a vegetable or a fruit?  Learn the truth about growing America’s most popular plant, including growing tomatoes from seed, selecting the perfect plant, transplanting tomato plants, cultivating and harvesting your best tomatoes ever.

Presented by the Williamson County Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau in-person at the Main Library in Franklin, with an option to attend virtually. Photos, screenshots, and videos may be taken at library events and activities for library use and publicity. Anyone not wanting to have their photo taken should notify library staff at the time of the event or activity.

We will email Zoom login instructions to everyone who registers on the morning of the event.  All Library programs are free and open to the public.
