The Women's expo provides an opportunity to celebrate women and women owned businesses. This event will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be inspirational speakers throughout the day that you can choose to attend, these are all free to the public. You may also shop from local vendors. Last year we had a total of 37 booths.
The speaker schedule:
10 a.m.: #IamRemarkable workshop given by Sherry Gick. This is a Google initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond.
11:30 a.m.: Young Adult author Annie Sullivan. “From Rejected Writer to Bestselling Author”
1 p.m.: Cathy Morris: Welcome to my world using the arts to create positive change. As a musical ambassador she has performed for world leaders and dignitaries including Mikail Gorbachev, President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Clinton, and First Lady Laura Bush among others.
2:30 p.m.: Karla Loken, Current Medical Advisor for Eli Lilly in Oncology Medical Review. Karla will talk about finding your passion or letting it find you on advocacy and volunteer work.
