At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. It's BYOBook (or browse the library shelves!). All readers are welcome. Settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading.  At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not!

Liviah Yeaw, graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and a "jack of all trades artist", will teach participants Sashiko, a Japanese stitching and embroidery technique used to mend, reinforce, and embellish garments. Please bring an item from home that you would like to mend.
