In partnership with the American Red Cross, Lake County Community Action Team presents Friends & Family Infant CPR. This Is a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn lifesaving skills of CPR for children under the age of one. **This is a skills class; CPR certifications will not be provided.** Registration is required and can be completed by visiting https://www.lccat.net/events/friends-and-family-infant-cpr-2 or calling (219) 736-4955 ext. 118.

Would your child like a patient, attentive friend to read to? Greyt Readers provides an opportunity for your child to read to retired greyhounds in a relaxed atmosphere. The dogs sit calmly and quietly for a story. Children can practice reading out loud without fear of judgment.

Did you know that Lake County has the highest incidence of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia out of all counties in Indiana? There is a growing need for early detection, support, and assistance for residents living in our area. Join Linda Curley from the Purdue Extension Lake County Office as she partners with the Alzheimer's Association for this four-part series. Sessions will cover:
*10 Warning Signs
*Healthy Living for the Brain and Body
*Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia
*Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s Disease
