ACHF Program - Author Kathy Sletto

Kathy Sletto is the author of "Keeping Watch: 30 Sheep, 24 Rabbits, 2 Llamas, 1 Alpaca and a Shepherdess with a Day Job," which chronicles how she quit her day job to live off the land on her farm near Alexandria, MN. She will read from her book and speak about her creative process for 30-45 minutes, followed by a question/answer session with the audience. The author will sell and sign copies of her book. Outdoorsman Babe Winkelman, host of TV's "Good Fishing": and "Outdoor Secrets" will present a 30-minute talk on fishing tips and his fishing/outdoors experiences. That will be followed by a 30 minute Q & A session with the audience and an autograph session. Winkelman, who grew up in Minnesota and lives near Backus, is a cultural icon and has been inducted into numerous halls of fame, including the Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame and the Sports Legend Hall of Fame.
