The NDSL Renewal and Development Conference is to provide opportunities to explore a variety of relevant library issues, build community among librarians, and enhance learning.
This year's conference will be held at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Mandan, ND on April 23-24, 2018.

The conference will cover a wide variety of topics in the two days. Day one will have Library Advocacy, Financial Literacy, and Mental Health in Library Patrons. Day two will be break-out sessions and include Comics, Collaboration with Teachers & Librarians, AASL Standards, How to help New American, Work place safety, and so much more. 

The cost of registration is $55 for two days and $35 for one. The registration cost will include lunch. You can pay when you attend or send a check to the NDSL. 

Valley City State University will offer school library media specialist a graduate credit for attending the conference and the night class taught by state librarian, Mary Soucie. The credit is $50 and must be registered for seperately.
