In Explore, teams of students focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design and code and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by a LEGO Education robot. Teams will learn about the basics of motors, coding, and engineering, and will engage in critical thinking. Each year there is a different theme that the students learn about. The season concludes with an end-of-the-year celebration where students showcase their LEGO models and poster board. Registration Required. The library will be presenting and answering questions at this informational meeting at Tyrrell Middle School regarding the Dec. 9th referendum, which includes the bonding for our library’s expansion. The architect will present the plans, and Wolcott residents will have an opportunity to ask questions. No registration is required, this meeting is open to all Wolcott residents. Greg Maichack will return to the Wolcott Public Library to offer "The Rose", a pastel painting workshop. Learn to create a beautiful rose inspired by Georgia O'Keefe from this professional and engaging artist.
