Join us on Monday and Wednesday mornings for Geri-Fit! This 45 minute evidence based strength training exercise class is for older adults.  There is no dancing or aerobics, work out at your own pace and most of the exercises are performed seated in chairs with light weights.  Registration is required.  Please bring a set of 2 or 3 pound dumbbells and a stretch band with you to class.  Water will be provided.

Are you excited to try your hand at National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this November 2019?

NaNoWriMo started in 1999 and has helped, encouraged, and inspired over 430,000 new and seasoned writers to dedicate themselves to the goal of writing 50,000 words in the month of November. That's about 1650 words or 6-7 pages per day.

Need some encouragement? Come Write In to the Spotswood Public Library 10:30 am to 1:30 pm Tuesdays in November to mingle with other NaNoWriMos and get in some serious writing. The Spotswood Public Library will provide tables, paper, pens, pencils, light refreshments, as well as motivation and camaraderie.

Help develop your child's love of reading with great stories, songs, games, and fun!
Join us for a storytime that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays.  Enjoy a fun and simple craft at the end!  Story Time participation also promotes listening and motor skills. Please feel free to stay and play after storytime is over.

For children ages 3-5, not yet in Kindergarten. A parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the program. Registration is for the entire program series, which begins on September 24th and ends in November 19th.

These 20-30 minute story times are full of books, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for children from 6 months to 3 years old. Children and their grown-ups are encouraged engage with the books and songs and to actively participate in the program. Storytimes are a great way to build literacy skills and encourage lifelong reading! Please feel free to stay and play after storytime is over.

For children ages 6 months - 35 months with a parent or caregiver. Please register each child who will be attending the storytime, including any older siblings. Registration is for the entire program series, which runs from September 5th through November 21st.

For Kids in Grades K-6.  Registration is required.  You must register for each LEGO Club meeting.

Spotswood residents ONLY may register at any time. Residents of all neighboring communities may sign up beginning two weeks before the meeting date if space is available. Early registrations from non-Spotswood residents will be canceled. Thank you for respecting our policy!
