Old Glory -- History
Online via Zoom
Friday, Jun. 5, 7 pm
Filled with original photographs, vintage images, and music, speaker Kevin Woyce traces the history of the American flag, from its origin in the Revolution to the addition of our 50th star in 1960. The program also explores how a poem about the 1814 Battle of Baltimore--set to a popular English melody--became our national anthem.

You must register by Friday, June 5th at 2 pm and include your email address in order to get the link to attend the program.  If you have not received the Zoom link between 2 and 4 pm, please contact the library at 732-251-1515. Sponsored by Friends of the Spotswood Public Library.
