Adult Chair Yoga
Friday, Apr. 19, 11am
Yoga instructor, Taylor Walek, will be leading adults in an hour-long Chair Yoga session bi-weekly starting Friday, February 9th at 11am through April 19. You must be registered for each individual class. Class registration will open on a monthly basis. This class is for adults only.

April Classes will be on Friday, April 5 and 19 at 11am in the programming room. 
Taylor Swift Poetry
Friday, Apr. 19, 4-6pm
Stop by the library between 4-6pm on Friday, April 19th to celebrate the release of Taylor Swift's new album! We will be making friendship bracelets and poetry out of Taylor Swift song lyrics. All ages are welcome to participate. Registration is requested but not required.
Sensory Saturday
Saturday, Apr. 20, 10:30am-11:30am
Sensory Saturday will be Saturday, April 20th from 10:30-11:30am in the programming room of the library! Children of all ages are welcome to play with a variety of sensory bins and toys. No registration required.
Earth Day Story & Cr

Join Miss Alix for an Earth Story & Craft on Saturday, April 20th at 12pm! This program is geared toward pre-k to 2nd grade. Registration is requested.
LEGO Club
Tuesday, Apr. 23, 4:30pm
LEGO Club will be meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 4:30pm in the programming room! Children of all ages are welcome to participate in free play with a variety of LEGOs. No registration required.
General Trivia (All
Tuesday, Apr. 23, 7pm
Test your knowledge at General Trivia for all ages on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7pm! This family-friendly trivia session is approximately 30 minutes long. Registration is requested.
Card Game Day
Wednesday, Apr. 24, 10am-6pm
Join us for Card Game Day on Wednesday, April 24th from 10am-6pm in the glass meeting room of the library! There will be a variety of card games available to play for all ages. No registration required.
Toddler Time

Join Miss Alix for Toddler Time where we read stories, do crafts and enjoy time with friends! Recommended for ages 2-4. Registration is requested.
Afternoon Book Club

Afternoon Book Club will be having it's monthly meeting on Thursday, April 25th at 1pm. We will be discussing Book Lovers by Emily Henry.
Story & Craft with a

On Thursday, April 25th at 4:30pm, Heather Prinzo, the author of Lookin' Within, will be visiting the library to read her book and help children complete a craft! Registration is required as space is limited.

Zoom: Allison Pataki

Join us to celebrate the launch of a new book by Allison Pataki on Thursday, April 25th at 7pm via ZOOM! Margie Ticknor, Director of Kemmerer Library, will interview Pataki about her latest and greatest. Finding Margaret Fuller, March 2024, has been three years in the making, ever since the life story of Margaret Fuller gripped Pataki when she first encountered her name in the pages of a book about the great Transcendentalists like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Louisa May Alcott.

After Hours Movie

This month's After Hours Movie will be on Friday, April 26th at 5:30pm and will be showing Wish (PG). A snack and water are provided and the movie starts promptly at 5:30pm. No children may be left unattended at the library during this time. Registration is requested.
Monday Matinee
Monday, Apr. 29, 2pm
April's Monday Matinee will be on Monday, April 29th at 2pm and will be showing The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (PG-13). The movie begins promptly at 2pm in the programming room of the library. No registration is required - this program is for adults only.
Floral Arrangements

Lincoln Park ShopRite's Florist, Linda, will be instructing adults on floral arranging on Monday, April 29th at 6pm! This program is for adults only and registration is required as space is limited.
Picture Bingo

Join Miss Alix for Spring Picture Bingo on Tuesday, April 30th at 4:30pm! All ages are welcome to participate - registration is requested.
Adult DIY with Creat
Tuesday, Apr. 30, 6pm
Lisa from Creating with Clay will be the instructor for this month's Adult DIY craft on Tuesday, April 30th at 6pm! Adults will first create their bowls out of air dry clay and then paint them. Registration is required as space is limited. This program is for adults only.
Cinco de Mayo Story
Wednesday, May 1, 6pm
Join Miss Alix for a Cinco de Mayo themed Story & Craft! Suggested for pre-k to second grade. Registration is requested.

 Napoleon: The &ldqu
Wednesday, May 1, 7pm
On Wednesday, May 1st at 7pm, join Kemmerer Library via ZOOM for the first installation of a two-part series on Napoleon.

Have you seen the movie, Napoleon, an epic that details the chequered rise and fall of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine? Are you curious how historically accurate it was?  This lecture aims to explain the rise of one of the most famous figures in Western, if not, World Civilization. Napoleon’s intellectual, civic, governmental, and military achievements will be weighed in the context of the movement that birthed him – The French Revolution.

Drawing Lessons with
Thursday, May 2, 4:30pm
An instructor from The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art will be teaching children ages 10 & up some cartoon drawing basics on Thursday, May 2nd at 4:30pm. Registration is required as space is limited. Children must be 10 years of age or older.
Early Closing
Friday, May 3
The library will be closing at 3:45pm on Friday, May 3rd for staff development.
