Lego Challenge Day Saturday April 27, 2:00-3:00 Kids ages 6-12 are invited to come and test their Lego skills at our Lego Challenge Day! Participants will have the opportunity to show off their Lego skills and test their creativity through our fun challenges! Registration is required. Registration begins April 11.

Kids ages 6-12 are invited to come read with Sadie, a trained therapy dog. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Attendance is limited and registration is required. Sign up all children who will be reading individually to assure they each have time to interact with Sadie and read. Registration begins May 9.

Mammal Pelts and Skulls with Michael Culbreth, Monday, June 3^rd 2:30 PM & 4:00 PM Families are invited to join us in the Meeting Room for Mammal Pelts and Skulls with Michael Culbreth, a Nature and Trails Coordinator. Participants will be able to interact with real animal pelts and skulls, and learn about the animals they came from! Parents and children should be registered individually. Registration is required, space is limited. Registration opens May 16^th.

Stories in the Sky Friday, June 7^th, 2:30-4:00 PM Families with children ages 3 and up are invited to join us in the Children’s Activity Room for our constellation program. Participants will enjoy fun facts about the stars and a telescope petting zoo. Parents should stay with children. Parents and children should be registered individually. Registration is required, space is limited. Registration opens May 23rd.

Build a Rollercoaster with Jennifer Stockdale Saturday, June 8^th, 2:00 PM, Children ages 8-12 are invited to join us in the Children’s Activity Room and learn how to build a rollercoaster! Parents should stay with children. Registration is required. Registration opens May 23^rd.

Make a Home for the Library Fairies & Intro to Wild Plants Monday June 10^th, 2:30 PM Kids ages 4 to 6 years old are invited to join the Nashville Nature Explorers in making fairy houses and learning all about local wild plants. Registration is required. Registration opens May 23^rd.

Make a Soothing Wild Plant Salve for Bug Bites Monday June 10^th, 4:00 PM Kids ages 8 to 12 years old are invited to join the Nashville Nature Explorers in learning about local wild plants and creating a bug bite salve to take home. Registration is required.  Registration opens May 23^rd.

Tween World Records June 14, 2:00-3:00 PM, Join us in the Children’s Activity Room and see if you can break a World Record! Test your skills at challenges like eating M&Ms with chopsticks, doing puzzles blindfolded, and more! Ages 10-13, registration is required. Registration opens May 30^th.

Jr. Chess Club. Sunday June 16, 3:00-4:30 Come play with other kids and improve your skills with help from our mentor. Ages 6-12, registration required. Registration begins June 6th.
