Baby & Me Storytime focuses on nursery rhymes and movement and is geared toward infants up to age 18 months. Parents and caregivers should be prepared to be actively involved in this storytime. Each Baby & Me Storytime is about 20 minutes long and concludes with time for babies to explore books and toys.

To ensure an enjoyable storytime experience for all families, please observe the following guidelines:
  • For the safety of infants participating in Baby & Me, familes are asked to keep older children that are attending the program at their side. Running is strictly prohibited. 
  • Keep casual conversations to a minimum and place cell phones on silent mode.
  • Strollers are not allowed in the storytime or meeting room. Baby carriers/car seats are acceptable.

If you need some new reading material, come to our Book Swap! Bring up to 3 books that you no longer want and swap them out for something new to read. If you don't have any books you want to swap, that's ok - we'll be playing board games and making ice-cream sundaes too!

Books to be swapped should be in useable condition (i.e. clean, not torn up, no pages missing) and be within the reading level of a 9 to 12 year old. Library staff reserve the right to reject any books not meeting these criteria.

We provide the LEGO® bricks, you provide the imagination! Use the library’s LEGO® collection to build individually or as a group and create something amazing! Ages 3 and up due to choking hazard. This is a come and go event, so no tickets are needed.LEGO® Rules:
  • To help keep our LEGO® bricks clean and to prevent spreading germs, you must use hand sanitizer (provided by the library) before playing with the LEGO® bricks. 
  • LEGO® bricks are for building - throwing, chewing on, and breaking LEGO® bricks are not allowed
  • LEGO® bricks must be shared.
  • Respect one another’s work - do not destroy anyone else’s creation.
  • Your creation must be taken apart and the LEGO® bricks put back in the storage bins before you may leave the program.
  • No LEGO® bricks from home are allowed. 
  • Those who do not follow the rules may be asked to leave the program.
