Baby and Me, featuring Miss Brandy,  is a program designed for ages Birth-18 months to promote early literacy in infants.  This program focuses on nursery rhymes and movement rather than books, is geared toward infants, and will be no longer than 25 minutes.  Parents and caregivers should be prepared to be actively involved in this story time.

Toddler Storytime, featuring Miss Brandy,  is a program designed for ages 18 mos - 3 yrs of age.  Young Patrons will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, flannel boards, movement activities, and lots of music, while learning their library manners!  This program is intended to prepare children for the Preschool Storytime soon after reaching 3 years of age.  Enjoy a good breakfast and join us for the activities and fun!

Tullis - Craft Fun

Ages 2 years old and younger. 10 minute program of songs, rhymes, and movement for the very young followed by a 20 minute play time.

This story program is for children of all ages (birth - age 3) and a caregiver with an emphasis on stories and activities for toddlers. This program emphasizes early literacy skills and is a great way to meet other families with young children.

Join us for Baby & Me Storytime on Tuesdays at 11am. Meet new friends and have fun with books bounces, bubbles and more. Recommended for babies and their caregivers, ages birth to 18 months, who are not yet walking. Program days are subject to change during the December and January holidays.

Toddler Storytime is a 30 - 45 minute program for children ages 2 - 3 years old. This program involves reading books, flannel board stories, finger plays, songs, dancing and activities. Please arrive on time as tickets will not be given out after 11:15am.

This program is for children 4 and up. ** Children may attend story club by themselves, but a parent or guardian must remain in the library during the program. Children are introduced to new authors and illustrators and develops, literacy skills, listening, thinking, participation and social skills.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 10am
Join us for Toddler Storytime on Wednesdays at 10am. We will have fun with books, rhymes, music, movement, a monthly craft and more. Recommended for Toddlers who walk independently, up to age 3. Program days are subject to change during the December and January holidays.

Central Library - All children ages 3-6 years old and their adult caregiver are invited to join us on Wednesdays for:
  • Books & Stories
  • Rhymes & Songs
  • Age-appropriate early literacy activities
  • Easy book-themed crafts
  • A light snack
  • All designed to offer your preschooler a fun library experience! 
** We encourage parent involvement and require all adult caregivers to remain in the room during storytime.
** Please limit conversations with other adults, and silence cell phones during storytime.
** Preschoolers are encouraged to sit, stand and practice self-control for longer periods of time than toddlers.
