Mental Health Awareness Month: This Is My Brave

A live presentation of touching essays, original music and poetry performed by individuals living with, or loving someone with, a mental illness. The power of the human connection through the telling of personal experiences will grab hold of the audience for the show’s ninety minutes and beyond. For teens and adults.

Rhyme On! Poetry Contest Finale featuring Award Winning Poet Laura Bobrow
Rust Library
Sunday, May. 31, 2:00 pm
Bobrow will present the awards, and participants will read from their work. The three winners and honorable mentions will also receive a copy of the book featuring poems from the contest, published by the Symington Press. 

Laura Bobrow has won awards for her poetry and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She has been a judge for the annual competitions of the Florida State Poetry Association and the Poetry Society of Virginia.
