National Library Week: Choose Your Own Adventure Fantasy
Ashburn Library
Saturday, Apr. 19 ,10:00 am-5:00 pm (Sunday, April 13-Saturday, April 19)
Create your own adventure fantasy as you explore the library with a scavenger hunt! Visit the Youth Services desk anytime this week to play. 
For ages 6-11.
 
National Library Week: Tech Tours at the Rust Library

Tour 1:  Go behind the scenes with the RFID system at Rust Library.
Tour 2:  See the Symington Press Espresso Book Machine in action.
Tours are twice a day all week.  Contact the branch to sign up for one or both.
 
National Library Week: 6-Word Memoir: How Has the Library Changed Your Life?
Sterling Library
Saturday, Apr. 19 (Monday, April 14-Saturday, April 19)
Tell us in 6 words how the library has changed your life. Write your "memoir" on a Post-It Note and add it to our memory board.
 
National Library Week: Childrens’ Mad Lib(rary) Stories
Gum Spring Library
Saturday, Apr. 19 ,- Apr. 19 (Monday, April 14-Saturday, April 19)
Stop by the Youth Services desk and pick up a Mad Lib(rary) story form anytime this week.  Complete and turn in your story to the Youth Services staff by April 19 and receive a small prize. Then take a chance at the guessing jar full of goodies. 
For kindergarten - fifth grade children.
 
National Library Week: 6-Word Memoir: How Has the Library Changed Your Life?
Gum Spring Library
Saturday, Apr. 19 ,4:00 pm (Sunday, April 13-Saturday, April 19)
Tell us in 6 words how the library has changed your life. Write it on a Post-It Note and stick it to a board provided. At the week's end, Librarians will put the notes into the new Gum Spring Library scrapbook.
