What do you get when you bring children, dogs and books together? You get happy, confident children who love to read! Certified therapy dogs and their handlers will visit the library to read with your child. 
For ages 5-11.
In partnership with paws4people foundation.

Rhyme On! Adult Poetry Writing Contest
All Locations
Monday, Apr. 28, -Apr. 30 (throughout April)
Take part in our first poetry writing contest in honor of National Poetry Month.

Follow submission guidelines at library.loudoun.gov/rhymeon
Submit your entry: April 1-30 at rhymeon@library.loudoun.gov

The winners will be announced in May and the authors of the poems selected for first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention will each receive a copy of a book, featuring poems from the contest, published by our own Symington Press. 
  
Look for library programs and workshops on poetry to spark your creativity, they will be prefixed with 'Rhyme On!'

For ages 18 & up.
