Teen Screen: The Lord of the Rings

Immerse yourself in the epic saga of Frodo Baggins, a young hobbit who adventures WAY beyond his backyard! Pizza and popcorn will be provided, but supplies are limited, so feel free to bring your own snacks too.

June 19: The Fellowship of the Rings – PG-13; 178 minutes.
July 10: The Two Towers – PG-13; 179 minutes.
July 31: The Return of the King – PG-13, 201 minutes.

Teen Cuisine with the Virginia Cooperative Extension
Rust Library

A six-week, hands-on series to make you a better chef or athlete. Each session will build upon what was learned the week before. 
 
If you have food allergies please contact a Teen  Librarian at 703-771-5998, or visit us in the Teen Center, so we can make appropriate recipe changes. 
 
You will be using knives and blenders, appropriate behavior around such materials is expected. Inappropriate behavior will result in dismissal from the program.

After Hours Teen Cen After Hours Teen Center
Cascades Library
Friday, Jun 21, 7:00-10:00 pm (Fridays, 7:00-10:00 pm (June 2013))
The schedule lists the featured activity but gaming, computers and art supplies are always available.  Do you have an idea for an evening activity?  Talk to staff.

All teens attending the After Hours Teen Center must have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian on file.  Teens must arrive by 7:30 and be picked up by 10:00.

*Every other week this summer one of the options at AHTC will be Teen Cuisine.  This program is a 6-part series, with each session building upon what was learned the week before. Please be available all sessions.
