Wine with Friends

Friday, May. 4, 7:30-9:30 pm
Please join us for Wine with Friends.  Enjoy a wine tasting led by 56 Degree Wine of Bernardsville and live music by Dave Elgart. Wines have been carefully selected by 56 Degree Wine experts and vendors will be on hand to describe the wines and answer questions.  Wine will be offered for purchase at a special price.
Socialize with friends and neighbors while enjoying wine, music and light refreshments. 
Tickets cost $60 per person in advance and $70 per person at the door.  Tickets can be purchased by using PayPal at www.mendhamtwplib.org or in person at the library.

Practice public speaking,  explore creative writing, play with words and learn how to tell a compelling story.  Learn strategies to connect to an audience, practice improv techniques and experiemnt with props.
This four session workshop is designed to inspire creativity and experience the ancient tradition of sharing a story with an audience. Sponsored by GCADA.

Make Peonies!

Learn how to make beautiful paper peonies with us! Cut out special paper and glue these magnificent blooms together.  All supplies will be provided by the library.  No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.  Instructions will be simple and easy to follow.  Sign up to have some fun being creative and making flowers together!

Gather up those ocnfidential documents you've been storing and bring them to the library for shredding:  $5.00/grocery bag full; $10.00/bankers box full.  All proceeds will benefit the library's extensive community programs and services.  Bring as many bags and boxes as you need -- full of old bills, cancelled checks and any sensitive doucments.  Ours is a drive-thru service with a smile - just turn into the Mendham Township Library parking lot and we will unload for you!
Support your library and reduce clutter at the same time!  We begin at 8:30 am and will fiish at 12:00 noon.

Knit a Cable Hat

Join us for a great class which will teach you  how to knit a fashionable and warm winter cable hat.  Meet expert Gabi Hearn to learn how to knit on the round, use double pointed needles, how to make a cable and a pom pom.

Join us the first Monday of each month at 1:30 to knit, crochet, needlepoint, rug hook, cross stitch or do any sewing project.  Enjoy working independently but sharing ideas with the group.  Bring your own supplies.
