Arts-ploration

Get creative exploring art through open-ended activities with a variety of materials! Each session will feature an art activity with a focus on the process rather than the result. For children around ages 2-5. Dress for mess!

Join Ms. Bree for a special story time session that will include stories, songs, rhymes and finger plays in English and Spanish! We will hear some traditional favorites from the United States in both languages and explore some stories and songs from latin american cultures.

Storytime is so much more than books! Come Talk, Sing, Play, Write, and Read with us as we grow into great readers!  The last Thursday of the month will be be storytime in English and Spanish.
Kids Can Compose

Is your kid into music? Do they want to create their own music...someday? Well thanks to a grant from Music Matters, that day could be closer than they think! Thanks to the generous support of Music Matters, the library is able to offer composition classes taught by local music teacher, Ms. Kuhlow! Kids will learn to use the library's new Midi Controller (a digital keyboard) and educational software to compose music during this 8 week course. These amazing resources really do make it possible for your child to compose their own arrangements and hear them played back digitally. Sign up today! Sponsored by Music Matters, Inc..
ABC’s Can Be E

Come and learn the alphabet with Ms.Bree!  We will introduce and explore letters through hands-on games, activities and songs.  The first 30 minutes will be led by Ms.Bree, then the second part of class will be for parent/child exploration at different letter stations.  Registration is required as spots are limited.  Ages 2.5-5.

Come meet these sweet pups and share a book with them! Dogs don’t mind if you stumble or struggle as you read, so reading with a pet or therapy dog can be great practice for struggling readers. It can also help to foster a love of reading for animal lovers. Registration is required.
