Baby Lap Sit is designed for our youngest patrons. As a group, caregivers and babies will read boardbooks, and cover finger play rhymes/songs. This program lasts for about 20 minutes. The remainder of the hour is reserved for play, exploration, socializing, etc.

We're open at our interim location! 137 E Arctic Ave. Pop in to explore the space and check out some new books while you're at it. We've got computers up and running, study spaces, and more. If we don't have something available our friendly staff are happy to place a hold or ILL to have it sent to the library for you to pick up at a later date.

Storytime is designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Program opens with a greeting song and a few stories are read to the group. Any remaining time is designated for practicing our skills! Children are welcome to explore, share, play, move, and read. Occasionally a guest will visit.

Join the Friends of the Palmer Library for a special story time at the Reindeer Farm! Wear or bring weather appropriate clothes. Geared toward younger kids but open to all ages. 5561 Bodenburg Loop, Palmer, AK 99645
Storytime is free. The Reindeer Farm will offer paid tours at 10am, after story time. Kids are $15. Adults are $17. If you would like to participate in the 10am tour, the farm recommends purchasing tickets in advance. https://www.reindeerfarm.com/
