Thursday, May. 24, 4 p.m.
Interested in volunteering at the library this summer?  Attend a session to find out what it takes to be a teen volunteer at the library. Teens must attend one Teen Volunteer Training before being accepted into the Teen Volunteer Program.

Join us at the library for messy, mushy, squishy sensory play! Please wear old clothes you don't mind getting messy.

Join us every Tuesday and Friday for story times in the Workman Room then head upstairs to the Children’s programming room for more toddler fun with an activity or craft. Tuesdays there will be a second sitting of story time at 11 a.m. 
During these dates the activity or craft and playgroup activities will be available in the Children’s Department after the stories have finished.

Blast off from Earth and travel throughout the Solar System, as you participate in crafts, games and more while filling up your Astronaut Passport! Whether digging through Moon Sand for out-of-this-world treasurers, making alien slime on Mars, hula-hooping on Saturn or launching asteroids throughout the Milky Way, you are sure to have a blast, as the library kicks off the Summer Read program. Other activities include an Astronaut Training Course, make/take craft stations, outer space Bingo and treats from Homewood Grill. Martin’s IGA will be grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs, for those families who would like to purchase a meal.
