Zoom Storytime: In P

Storytime is back! We are excited to have storytime for a very small group in the library. 

This storytime is the same as Zoom Storytime. Zoom will be synchronous, this is simply an opportunity to see Ms. Erica in person. Please read all of our guidelines to register for an in library storytime spot:

Child must be between the ages of 3-5
Only 1 adult caregiver will be allowed to attend storytime with the child.
Masks are required for caregivers.
Only children listed on the registration will be allowed to attend.
If the adult or child has had any symptoms of COVID-19, has been in contact with individuals who test positive for COVID-19, or been in contact with individuals displaying symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days, they will not be allowed to attend storytime.
Each child will be given a circle to sit on, and cannot move their circle space. Physical distancing must be maintained.
Crafts are take home only, and will be given to each adult at the end of storytime.

Graveyard Book Book
Wednesday, Apr. 21, 3:30 PM (Wednesdays April 7, 14, 21, 28 at 3:30 PM)
We're getting spooky and reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman! Join us for a book club to read and discuss how fun it would be to live in a graveyard among the ghosts. Games, prizes, and more! Books will be provided and those registered will be notified when they are ready for pick up. Meetings will take place via Zoom. 

Ages 9-12

Friendship bracelet
Friday, Apr. 23

Make a colorful bracelet using the chevron pattern. Each kit will have instructions, safety pin, and floss for creating a bracelet. Most all color floss available, including neon. Please answer the question provided with your top four color choices and we will try to accommodate. We will notify you when your kit is ready for pickup.

Ages 10-18

An interactive lapsit program for children ages 0-3 with a parent or caregiver. Through rhymes, fingerplays, songs and stories, we will sow the seeds of language acquisition with rollicking fun!

Child must be between the ages of 0-3

Spring Coasters
Monday, May 3
This take home kit will have the instructions & supplies to make two spring-themed coasters using tiles & Mod Podge. Designs may vary.  Registration is online at smoot.org.  We will notify you when your kit is available for pick up.  This program is for ages 18 & up.  Limit 2 kits per household (please register each individual separately).
