Centennial History B

This all new book club will meet on the last Thursday of each month through August.  In collaboration with the Southeast Museum, and to commemorate the centennial anniversaries of Women's Suffrage and the US entry into WWI, a new book club will be led by Amy Campanaro, Director of the Southeast Museum.  Book selections will be retrospective of major milestones that took place in US history in 1917.  This era will be explored through book discussions, museum artifacts, and photos reflective of the era.

Child ID Event

New York Life Insurance works with local communities to ensure the safety of our children by issuing free Child ID cards to parents and guardians.  A representative will be available at the library to issue and print Child ID cards that will feature a child’s photo, fingerprints, contact information and other pertinent data needed by the police in case of an emergency.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Registration is required.  

Please note:  No child’s information or pictures are electronically retained.  All data is automatically erased upon printing the Child ID.
